It's always nice to see a Vietnamese owned bagel place! It definitely lives up to its popularity, particularly in the sense of its customer service. This was my first time here so I didn't have that pleasure and felt a colder experience, but the family running the spot definitely knows/remembers their community and is very interactive with their customers who frequent the spot. I got a dozen assorted bagels (~$23), two containers of cream cheese, and a small iced white chocolate coffee. The total was about $37.50 which I presume is a little on the pricier side, but I'm just comparing to the east coast where a baker's dozen (13ct) was $14.99. Other than that, the bagels were great and I loved the locality of it all.

The son was craving a bagel. So we hopped on here and found House of Bagels to be the closest that had the most stars, great reviews and tempting photos. It is near SJSU. Parking is shared with a 7-11 and Naglee Garage. There is a seating area in their "patio" area but not inside. The man behind the counter was pleasant. Son ordered a 5 seed bagel with turkey, ham, cheese, cucumber, red onion and cream cheese. He devoured it. I ordered a lox pn jalapeno cheese bagel. Was only able to eat half. It was massive. We will be back!

I was here on a Saturday morning around noon. The wait time was so quick, I think ordering and receiving food in total took about 10 minutes in total. Service was quick and helpful in answering questions. Great place for a grab n go brunch or a coffee chat with someone! But keep in mind that there's no seating inside but a few tables under the shade outside. Since it was busy, it was hard to find seating. I got a Jalapeño Cheese bagel with veggies inside. Pretty good value for brunch as it was only about ~$7 for the size of both of your hands. It was really creamy (with this sort of cream cheese spread) and crunchy/fresh veggies. The bread was soft and crispy on the outside! It was reallyyy good! Overall, other than limited seating, I had a really good time here and will be back for my brekkie pick me up!

What once was a mindless brunch spot in college recently turned into my favorite bagel place. Why did I never think to remember my dear old friend all these years? Located right next to my alma mater, SJSU, House of Bagels always brings back fond memories of when my friends and I would skip class to get bagels :') NO REGRETS! Anywho, my boyfriend was recently on the hunt to find me the most delicious Lox bagel in town when he stumbled across this place on Yelp--and that was when my love for House of Bagels was reignited. The lovely ladies at the counter always greet us with a smile and are patient whenever taking orders. My go-to is the Lox Bagel on a Jalapeno and Cheese Bagel; they always load it with a ton of cream cheese and salmon. If I'm feeling spicy, I'll go for the iced coffee with cream and sugar too! My boyfriend likes their Blueberry Bagel with strawberry cream cheese--it's a lovely selection for when you're in the mood for something fruity and sweet! There are a couple of seats at the front of the store where college students frequently sit and chat away. It's nice and shady, too. This location does get quite busy during peak brunch hours, so the line can get long and plaza parking may be limited. But I'll always come back for the memz and delicious bagels. Forgot to snap a photo but I'll attach one to this review the next time I stop by!

I've loved House of Bagels or HoBags since my SJSU days. My go to order was always a pesto bagel with plain cream cheese. This particular time I went with one of my friends who I've been raving about this spot too. We popped in late Saturday morning for some breakfast before doing some shopping. The bagels were loaded with cream cheese! And the bagels were so warm and crunchy. We both got a large iced white mocha. We got our food and drinks quickly and even found a table out front to enjoy the late morning weather.

This place was such a staple during my college years at SJSU. Whenever I am in the area, and my schedule permits, I always stop by. HoBags or House of Bagels not only has delicious bagels and other food, they have such fast service! Usually by the time I finish paying, my bagel is ready for me. If you have never been here I suggest giving it a try! They have limited outdoor seating but on a nice day, it is so relaxing to sit and enjoy your bagel.

Delicious bagels! Parking is super scarce but it's luckily in a very walkable area if you don't mind parking down the street in a neighborhood or something. Generous portions and overall very filling. It's one woman in front taking orders as well as preparing the orders on the spot. Despite that and the line being consistently out the door the service was friendly and still very fast. There's a bathroom on the back side of the building you need to ask for a code to use. Outdoor seating is very nice there's a good amount but it gets taken quickly and if you're lucky to get a spot it's definitely an interesting view and calming patio like area. I've already recommended this place to a few of my friends and I'll definitely be back!

Wooow truly a hidden gem! I've heard great things about House of Bagels but don't live in SJ and have never been myself. FYI, The SF House of Bagels is different! I arrived around 8:45am on a Saturday and there was a long line out the door. It took about 35 minutes from the time I arrived to when I placed my order but the workers were very friendly and efficient. They were already sold out of some bagels so I recommend going early if you want a specific bagel. There were lots of bagel and cream cheese options so there's something for everyone! They do put a lot of cream cheese but I'd rather have too much than too little. The bagel lived up to the hype and I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a bagel!

Hidden gem. Wow...don't under estimate this little hole in the wall bagel spot. Small building located in a small plaza so I'm sure parking can be difficult during peak hours. Super close to the college campus. They accept cash & credit cards. We were out of town visitors and it just so happens House of Bagels was close by to our airbnb. Wanted something quick and casual for breakfast one day and thanks to Yelp for leading me here. Ordered the following items: -sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwich on a pesto bagel. -veggie with sundried tomato cream cheese also on a pesto bagel. MY GOODNESS. Hot, fresh and every bite was packed with flavor. Not sure if it was the sundried tomato cream cheese or the pesto bagel or maybe a mixture of everything but I savored every bite. There was a small line when we went on a normal Monday morning but the man and woman working behind the counter (owners?) took and made our orders efficiently. Definitely will be a repeat visit the next time we're in SJ.
